dear friends, new MY FIRST PERIOD tape is finally available for order!! release party last wednesday was a succes, for which i shall thank every participant (read a review here). as you can see from picture above, the packaging is made in a soft VHS-case with metal screws attaching the tape. it's rad as fuck. artwork is pornographic and thus NOT suitable for kids / pansies.
in other news, desibeli.net has posted articles on BAXTER STOCKMAN and PHENOMENAL CREATURE.

new tape by MY FIRST PERIOD will be out on 30.9. our friends at Rabbit-Ilsn Records will share the burden with us. with this release, we have a real treat for you people. this is easily the most depressive and disturbing MFP material so far. not nearly as song-oriented as our first two releases, more like a violent drug addled blur accidentally caught on tape. listen to a sample in myspascaeac, sideffect records-profile or mfp-profile.

Hello dear people!! Here's a few words on what's happening with Sideffect Records at the moment.
- Baxter Stockman is performing at Rabbit ILSN-fest in Semifinaali (HKI) tonight. Also Sydän, Sydän and Candy Cane. Entrance fee 7 euros. BS will start the night at 22:00.
- Phenomenal Creature is now in stock in X-Mist. This German label / distro also sells the BS-ep.
- My First Period has maybe finished a new release (???). Out hopefully early fall through Rabbit ILSN records.
- We will soon open a section on this page with many out of print Sideffect Records-gems available for download! You just wait.
Also worth mentioning is a brand new release by our close associates KVN & Lobo: Welcome to the Dead End (ProCD-R / LP). Crushing and pounding instrumental hip-hop done with highly unique style, yet giving playful nods towards 90's beat masters. These two producers are known from several projects, including production for Kivenveistäjä's latest release "Rata-kivi Äänite" (still available on our web store). WTTDE can be obtained through KVN & Lobo's myspace-page, or bought from physical shops like Funkiest, Stupido Shop and Levykauppa Äx (HKI).
